Who is Northumberland Wildlife Trust?

Northumberland Wildlife Trust is part of a UK-wide partnership of 47 Wildlife Trust. They are a non-government funded charity, supported by membership, donations, local businesses and charitable trust grants. The charity manages over 60 nature reserves in the region, in addition to supporting landowners in managing their own sites, to enable native wildlife to thrive. The determination and hard work they do is helping to secure the future of many important habitats and species which might otherwise be lost.
The aim is to educate, influence and empower people in taking action for nature. Northumberland Wildlife Trust aims to deliver educational sessions and activities to local schools and community groups. In addition, they have over 249 volunteers currently venturing out to take positive action for wildlife.
