Festival Season

This summer, not only can you see some great live acts and share a weekend to remember with friends, but you can also raise funds for free for your charity when you buy your tickets through Give as you Live.

Seatwave and Viagogo will give up to 3.5% to your charity when you buy your ticket through Give as you Live. They both allow users to sell tickets for events they can no longer attend and give up to, so you could even get a ticket for a sold out festival.

Glastonbury 22nd-26th June

Of course ‘the’ must go festival is Glastonbury.Unfortunately, all the tickets for Glastonbury are sold out, but you could keep an eye on Viagogo or Seatwave to see if anyone decides to part with their ticket.

Isle of Wight 10th-12th June

It sure is a long way to travel for some people, trains, buses and then a ferry, but it’s worth it. The legendary music festival takes place at Seaclose Park and attracts some of the biggest and best names in live music. This year’s headliners are Kings of Leon, Pulp, Foo Fighters and Kasabian!

Reading & Leeds 26th- 28th August

Traditionally a celebration of hard and heavy rock, but with new stages added it has attracted more indie and dance acts. Both Leeds and Reading are held over the bank holiday weekend, this year’s headliners are Muse, The Strokes and Pulp plus My Chemical Romance.

The Big Chill 4th -7th August

‘More than a music festival, it’s a way a life’, is the way papers describe The Big Chill. It has grown from a humble event to one of the country’s most original festivals. Located in the beautiful Eastnor Castle Park in Herefordshire’s Malvern Hills, The Big Chill continues to be one of the most innovative music events of the year.
