To accompany the release of their new fearlessly feminine Jasmine & Sun Rose collection, Molton Brown have teamed up with Glamour magazine to launch #OwnYourBold, a campaign to nurture the conversation around female empowerment by encouraging women to embrace their individuality and help to build the confidence of others by championing modern femininity in all its forms.
As part of the campaign, London’s fragrance experts spoke to 2,000 UK men and women aged 18-65+, and what they found blows apart cliched depictions of Millennials as lazy, entitled, politically naive social media addicts, with few interests beyond eating avocado toast and posting selfies to fuel their desperate need for validation.
In fact, the results show that Millenials are not only more attuned to the structural disadvantages and inequality faced by women and minorities than older generations, they are also twice as likely to speak out against societal injustices and notably more optimistic about the prospect of erasing them.
“2018 has been a better year than ever before for pushing the boundaries of what’s ‘normal’ and what’s ‘beautiful’, can social media actually be used as a force for good?”
Molton Brown quizzed up with Glamour to quiz three of today’s most empowering women to discover what #OwnYourBold means for them.
The new Jasmine & Sun Rose fragrance is a symphonic collection of floral and fruity notes featuring a Bath & Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Bathing Oil and an Eau de Toilette in 50ml and 100ml sizes. Shop the collection via Give as you Live and raise up to 2.5% for your chosen charity.
