How funds are disbursed to Charity
Everyclick's standard Give as you Live terms are that a minimum of 50% of the commission collected from a retailer is passed on to the charity of each shoppers choice to cover the costs of the disbursement of funds to any UK charity selected a shopper. Payments are made to charity monthly.
For Online Giving Week, because VOGUE.CO.UK wants to raise as much money as possible, Give as you Live has capped the commission they retain to manage disbursements to a maximum of 2.5% of the net order value of any product sold through Online Fashion Week. If the retailer donation is less than 5%, half of the donation commission is retained
This means that if a retailer sells an outfit for £100 via an affiliate program with a 5% commission, Give as you Live collects £5 and sends £2.50 of that to the customer's nominated charity. If, during Online Fashion Week, that retailer decides to donate 10% of all takings to charity, then Give as you Live collects £10, retains £2.50 of that and gives the remaining £7.50 to the customer's nominated charity. If the retailer decides to give 15% of all takings to charity, Give as you Live collects £15, retains £2.50 of that and distributes the remaining £12.50 to the shopper's nominated charity.
What is important is the donation percentage that is displayed to a shopper is always 100% of what the charity will receive.
