My Beautiful Bank Holiday BBQ

I’m getting excited for Easter weekend as a few of my good friends are coming back home to Cheltenham for the occasion. I’ve decided to organise a BBQ party on Good Friday to welcome them home and celebrate Easter.

I’ve bought many things for the party, the most important thing being the BBQ. John Lewis, Heals and Debenhams all had good ones online, but I chose this Samba Trolley Charcoal BBQ from B&Q.

I’ve ordered lots of lovely food from ASDA, beef mince meat to make homemade burgers, lamb chops, both quorn and pork sausages for hotdogs and all the ingredients for a yummy, fresh salad.

I love drinking Pimm’s & Lemonade in the sunshine and I plan to have copious amounts made up and ready to serve when my friends arrive. I always add strawberries, cucumber pieces and mint to mine. This drink is sure to relax them and release that “Friday feeling” into the atmosphere.

My best friend Harriet (wearing the orange skirt in the photo above) is always the first to get up and start dancing. I’m going to download some new albums from iTunes as well as some of her favourite songs.

Garden games are a “must have” in our house for summer BBQ’s and a party isn’t a party until someone falls over or makes a fool of themselves. Garden Centre Online has so many fun games and I’ve bought a 14ft trampoline, a limbo game and giant jenga.

I can’t wait until my party, when my goodies get delivered this week I’ll have a great feeling because by buying everything I need online through Give as you Live, I have raised £8.68 for the charity that is close to my heart – Cancer Research UK.
