3 interactive ways to support the mch.london virtual boat race for Power2Inspire

During the absence of in-person sporting events, Give as you Live is hosting the first ever mch.london virtual boat race to raise funds for the inclusive sport charity, Power2Inspire. The virtual race will be live at 3pm on Saturday 13th June 2020 and there are 3 fantastic ways that you, your friends and family can support this exciting online sporting event!

1. Host your own watch party!

Whether you’re hosting your first garden party in accordance with the latest government update – up to 6 people can meet at a safe 2m distance – or you’re connecting via your favourite video sharing platform, this Saturday presents the perfect opportunity for some collective sporting fun!

Stock up on your favourite snacks and beverages, perhaps even creating some nautical or rowing-themed platters – Pinterest is filled with fun and easy ideas to get creative with! Make sure everyone is ready to support the race at 3pm and if you have the colours already in your wardrobe, wear dark or light blue to support your chosen team!

2. Take part in the TikTok Challenge

Head over to TikTok and search for the #VirtualBoatRaceChallenge

You can compete in the challenge by showcasing your best rowing moves with everyday household items in the most obscure places!

Why not get the family involved and create your own team!

3. Choose your Blue and Donate

Which side will you support – Oxford (Dark Blue) or Cambridge (Light Blue)?

  • Choose your side and make your donations
  • Consider dividing the room to get some friendly rivalry going!
  • Follow your chosen team on social media and cheer them on in real time!

However you choose to get involved, be sure to bring the energy on Saturday for what will be a thrilling, inclusive and fun event – all to raise important funds for Power2Inspire!

Hullo I’ve made donation to your charity but I can’t see how to actually watch the race at 1500
