My Give as you Live Experience:
I was introduced to Give as you Live by my sister. She had told me that I could raise a lot of money for charity by simply downloading the Give as you Live App to my PC. It was so simple to download the App and start to raise money for my favourite cause.

I have an extremely busy lifestyle and absolutely hate shopping so I love being able to shop online, at any time of day or night, from the comfort of my own home. It’s also great not to have to be with queues and crowds of people, especially during busy periods.

I managed to pick up some lovely birthday presents for my children online, that I would not normally have found on a shopping trip. There is a wide selection of stores to choose from, ranging from supermarkets, to airlines, to clothes shops and even iTunes… A must for my children. What else could I want?

By buying the gifts online I saved time and fuel, the goods were delivered to me very quickly. It gave me more time to spend more precious time with my family. Also my stress levels were greatly reduced – again another bonus!

I have just started to raise money for our local Scout Group as they need to replace the old toilets. If every group member signs up, we will have sparkling new loos really soon. We do fundraise locally, but you can only ask the same people to participate a certain number of times.

We already take advantage of the sports vouchers that Tesco and Sainsbury’s issue and manage to keep our kit up together, but we need to raise money for the scout hut itself, so that it stays in good repair.

Using the Give as you Live App allows the whole group to get involved and see the amount of money raised getting higher and higher… It also inspires a bit of competition to see who can raise the most!
