National Ferry Fortnight 2015 runs between March 2 and 15, and there are some great deal to be had if you book during the event. Here is a look at five of the top offers.
You can take the first two kids in your car for free if you book with Brittany Ferries. The offer is valid for daytime sailings linking France and the UK. You can also take advantage of a free cot and free day cabin offer for journeys before September 30. The offer is valid over the school holidays.
If you’re one of the first 500 people to book a DFDS Seaways return trip between Dover, Dunkirk or Calais, you will get a free day-return ticket. This will cover a car and include up to nine people. You’ll then be able to select certain dates for travel on your original route up to December 11. For a free flexible ticket upgrade, which would usually cost £20 more, book the cheapest Calais return ticket available at My Ferry Link. You’ll need to sail between March 3 and May 10 and use the code NFF2015.
If you book a sailing with Irish Ferries before March 17 and travel before January 5 next year, then you can save £60 with a ‘first passenger goes free’ offer that is valid for every sailing and on every ship. If you’re planning a trip from Harwich to Hook of Holland, Stena Line is giving away free places for dogs, children under 16 and bicycles. You’ll need to use the FREE15 code when you book and travel during 2015. If you book a crossing between Fishguard and Rosslare or Holyhead and Dublin, enter the KIDS code and every car passenger under the age of 16 can go for free. Enter the word FRIEND instead if you want to get a free trip for an additional passenger, but you can only make use of one of these offers. You must also travel before January 31 next year.
