Whether you’re a serious swimmer or have just taken up running, taking part in Sport Relief 2016 is a great goal to work towards and it’s all for a great cause too.
The money raised by the public through Sport Relief is used to make a difference right here in the UK and 50% goes towards transforming lives across the world’s poorest communities.

The series will see a batch of 16 celebrities competing in the ultimate baking battle, all to raise as much cash as possible for Sport Relief.

The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games are nationwide fundraising events that take place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th March. Get sponsored to walk, run, swim or cycle at over 1,000 locations across the UK.
One Mile – A gentle walk, jog or run for people of all ages and abilities.
Three Miles – A manageable distance, even for novice runners looking for a challenge.
Six Miles – Push yourself to the limit and take your running to the next level.
1.5k – At 60 lengths of a 25m pool, this is a great target for novice (or rusty) swimmers.
2.5k – With a bit of training, most people can take on 100 lengths of a 25m pool.
5k – At 200 lengths of a 25m pool, this is the ultimate water-based challenge.
Simply Swim – Pick a pool of your choice and distance and complete it between 9th and 20th March.
25 Miles – Choose our 25-mile route at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as a challenge for novice cyclists.
50 Miles – Take it to the next level with our 50-mile route at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
3 Mile Family Cycle – An easy route made with the littlest of legs in mind, this is fun for all the family.
Simply Cycle – Pick your own route and cycle it solo, or with friends and family, from 1st to 20th March.
