Teams4U’s aim is to make a difference in the lives of children around the world who are in desperate and hopeless situation. They strive to give these children a second chance by helping them recognise and appreciate their own self-worth. Through a mix of volunteers and professionals, Teams4U work with partners to deliver programmes and implement projects that are sustainable into the future.
Supporters of Teams4U have very recently started using Give as you Live, to raise money each time they shop online. The charity has received donations so far through purchases at ASDA, John Lewis, Currys, Bambino Direct, thetrainline and many other companies. One supporter raised a massive £32.45 last week when they shopped at luxury home ware retailer ACHICA.
That one shopping transaction will make a massive difference to the charity. It has raised enough money to test 12 people in Africa for HIV, plant 12 saplings on Ugandan plantations or pay for a child to attend pre-school for a month in Romania.
Imagine how many people the charity could help, with more shoppers signed up. If you are a Teams4U supporter reading this, and not yet signed up, why not give it a try today?
