If you are near the Kia Oval on Saturday (September 13), head in for some fun and a chance to help raise funds for the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

There will be ground tours, net sessions, vintage stalls, market stalls, live music and crafty competitions, along with face painters and balloon artists, bouncy castles, farm animals and more.

Entry is free, and the worthwhile event, supported by Surrey County Cricket Club and the Kia Oval, promises to provide plenty of fun for the whole family between 11am and 5pm.

The event will also include a five-kilometre fun run, which is planned at the very start of the day. It is open to all ages and abilities, whether you want to walk or run, but you must register in advance online.

Everyone who takes part can have a photo taken with Surrey Cricket mascot Caesar the Lion and will get a pair of tickets to watch Surrey play a T20 game next year. If you, or someone you know, would love to have this opportunity but cannot make the event, get your hands on a Family Ticket to a County Cricket Match from the Activity Superstore.

Some of Saturday’s activities do need to be booked online in advance. These include tours of the Oval grounds and the net sessions. Volunteers are also needed to help on the day. If you can offer your services or have any questions about the event, call 0207 8487805.
