This Spring, we have partnered with BritMums (the UK’s largest and most influential network of parent bloggers) to launch our Mums for Good campaign.
This campaign brings mums together to support their favourite causes through their day-to-day online shopping. So, whether it’s that weekly food shop or renewing the home insurance, buying clothes for kids or treats for grown-ups, our Mums for Good ambassadors will be encouraging more and more online shoppers to sign up!
Leading the charge, we have some of BritMums’ top bloggers. Introducing our ambassadors, here’s…
Tanya Barrow – shopaholic extraordinaire, who would go as far as to say her shopping habits will be the demise of the high street. Tanya will be supporting Victim Support.
Penny Alexander – ex- drama and media teacher, and fantastic in front of the camera. Penny will be v-logging (video blogging) about raising money for Action Aid. Close to the cause, Penny sponsors a seven-year-old boy in Pakistan called Luqman.
Marianne Whooley – representative of The Great British Housewife and another great v-logger, Marianne will be supporting The UCL Cancer Institute Research Trust.
Kate Davis-Holmes – runs BritMums’ charity connections programme: Blogging It Forward. Kate has kicked off her campaign supporting the Royal British Legion.
Our aim with our Mums for Good ambassadors is to have an additional 10,000 shoppers supporting UK charities. With the average shopper raising £25 a year, this campaign has the potential to raise a whopping £250,000!
You’ll be hearing more from our ambassadors on the Give as you Live blog and our Twitter feed… watch this space for updates on the campaign’s progress.
