How no make up selfies can raise even more for charity

makeup2You may have seen lot’s of bare faces appearing on your Facebook and twitter feeds this week which is all down to the #nomakeupselfie viral trend that has now raised over £2 million for charity to date!

If you’ve been nominated lot’s of times and have already donated there is another way you can continue to raise funds for your charity, without having to put your hand back in your pocket for a donation… and that’s by buying make-up!

You had to put it on to take it off,  so think how much could be raised next time you stock up your make up bag if you shopped via Give as you Live for your beauty goods?

On average, women spend over £200 a year on make up, from blusher to mascara, it all adds up. Now imagine if all the make up you bought was purchased using Give as you Live – on average you could raise £5 for your charity – at no extra cost, by buying what you were going to buy anyway!

It couldn’t be simpler, all you need to do is add the Give as you Live toolbar to your browser, which takes around 6 seconds and shop as normal at stores like Boots, Benefit, Superdrug and many more.

Cancer Research said over 800,000 donations had been made as a result of the #nomakeup selfie trend – if all those people shopped for their make up using Give as you Live, a huge £4 million could be raised every year – at no extra cost!
