I normally buy my mum a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day. For years, I have shopped at Bunches as they always have lovely flowers for Mother’s Day and Mum loves the free chocolates they send when you buy online.
I had planned on doing the same this year through Give as you Live, and the fact that they donate up to 5.00% would have been a massive bonus.
This year though, Mum threw a spanner in the works when she spotted a gift that she would like instead. Even though I had already bought her a gift, I missed the normal tradition of choosing flowers for her.
I found a brilliant solution in the form of Flowercard. Their greeting cards are similar in size to a normal greeting card, with a beautiful miniature fresh flower bouquet displayed inside.
What’s more, Flowercard donates up to a massive 9.5% when you shop through Give as you Live, which means that my Mother’s Day Flowers raised £1.42 for my charity, NSPCC.
