Monday 5th December 2011 is the launch of VOGUE.CO.UK’s first ever Online Fashion Week.
While receiving exclusive offers and content, VOGUE.CO.UK’s shoppers can also look forward to raising money for their favourite causes, as retailers featured during Online Fashion Week will donate a percentage of each purchase to causes chosen by readers via Give as you Live technology.
With last year’s Fashion Night In event raising over £40,000 for charity in just six hours, Online Fashion Week, hosted by VOGUE.CO.UK, is a great opportunity for shoppers to raise money for charity as they take advantage of the exclusive offers and fashion advice featured.
So from 9am Monday December 5 to 6pm on December 9, all will be revealed via the Online Fashion Week.VOGUE.CO.UK readers can sign up to select the charity that they would like to support with their purchases. Give as you Live will track and disburse these funds.
Dolly Jones, Editor of VOGUE.CO.UK “Retailers involved in Online Fashion Week will donate a percentage of each purchase made to causes chosen by our readers. Online Fashion Week is about great fashion, but also about celebrating the philanthropy that fashion can generate. We want it to highlight new lesser known charities as well as the big established names, just as VOGUE.CO.UK celebrates new emerging designers as well as internationally successful labels.”
Polly Gowers, CEO of Everyclick, the company behind Give as you Live, says, “With so many Charities struggling in the current climate, we are delighted to partner with VOGUE.CO.UK in turning Online Fashion Week into a great fashion event that also delivers valuable funds to a wide range of deserving charities”.
