Ocado. I shop every two weeks, and I’ve noticed others in my neighbourhood are switching to Ocado for home delivered groceries.

      Hi Melinda

All four of those retailers are already part of Give as you Live, so you can shop with them whenever you like – just go via the Give as you Live website or download our shopping bar.

      Thanks

I shop at Asda and Ocado every week, so it would be wonderful to know a portion of my spend was going to a good cause!

      Hi Inga

Thanks for your comment. Both ASDA Groceries and Ocado are already part of Give as you Live, however they only donate to new customers (£2.50 each) so unfortunately you won’t be able to raise money with your weekly order.

At present, Sainsbury’s are the only grocery retailer to donate every time. And the vast majority of our 3,500 retailers will donate on every purchase.

      Thanks

I live in Australia, so most of the stores are not available to me. However, I do buy quite a lot of art materials from Jackson’s Art Supplies and the Society for all Artists, both in the UK. It would be great if they could be added.

    Hello!

I am an avid and loyal GAYL user. My only request is for a better organic food store to be added, such as Planet Organic (https://www.planetorganic.com/) and/or The Organic Delivery Company (http://www.organicdeliverycompany.co.uk/). I use them weekly for my food shopping!

    Thank you,

I would like to suggest two on line retailers whic I use one regularly one occasionally but both into the future – these are Wentworth Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles and the on line stockbroker The Share Centre – in fact if you have a different on line stockbroker already supporting give as you live I will consider changing.

We don’t have much in the way of stockbrockers and forex providers unfortunately, but will keep an eye out for more of them.

Hi I have signed up and click in when shopping on line. I have challenge Ocado who say they support but failed as yet to award any ‘earning when I shop with them, Also I place a weekly order with Wiltshire Farm Foods for my parents and again I sign in and it is not credited! It would be good to know what their status with you is as it is more than a little frustrating to get the update email from you stating I have currently earned £0.00 for my cause (Church Army)

      25 February, 2013 at 09:33

      Hi Elizabeth

Thank you for your comment. Ocado donate £3 for every new user who signs up and books an order – this means that as a repeat customer of theirs, unfortunately you aren’t able to raise money there. Wiltshire Farm Foods offer a 1.5% donation for repeat customers (and 5% for brand new customers) so your weekly orders should be eligible for a donation. If any orders are not tracking to your account within 7 days, please make a claim within your Give as you Live account – this will enable us to contact the store to get a manual donation.

White Stuff is a great company with fantastic quality clothes. They have wonderful ski and apres-ski wear too, so with winter coming – now’s the time to ask!

On a different tack, what about Pets at Home or similar? Pedigree animals cost a fair packet , so that’s more money in GAYL’s pocket if they agree to sign up!

Last one! – Chessington World of Adventures or Legoland. Tickets are booked mostly on-line now so there’s an easy opportunity to earn some money for a good cause whilst you’re entertaining the children!

A way to contribute when buying food would be great –
e.g. reloadable gift cards from Sainsburys, the Co-op, Asda, Tesco, Waitrose/ocado

for use in store as well as online

      Hi there

We have a number of supermarkets available at the moment. Sainsbury’s donate 25p on every grocery purchase whilst Tesco, ASDA and Ocado donate for every new customer that signs up.

Waitrose are temporarily unavailable but when they rejoin in the next few weeks, they will donate 37p for every grocery order (plus a bonus if you’re new).

All of this is online at the moment – unfortunately it’s not possible to Give as you Live in store.

      Thanks

eBay are one of our targets and we hope to bring them on board soon. The way they typically work with sites like ours is that a large percentage of the fees will be donated (as that’s what they receive for each transaction, the selling price goes to the seller).

Although Waitrose is already connected we get our Waitrose home deliveries through Ocado – should they be approached? Also I have regular DVD rental through Tesco.com which is 4.47 per month – why is this purchase not added to my account?

I have lodged two claims so far – one with Thomas Cook holiday which I purchased over the phone when the on line site crashed at the point of booking. I got the holiday for the same price and subsequently purchased extra leg room – this was on line and hasnt been added yet. will I have to lodge a separate claim?

      Hi Pat

Thanks for the suggestions. I keep trying Ocado and will continue to do so until we get them.

Tesco donates £3 for every DVD Rentals subscription. If you set up the subscription before you started using Give as you Live, that may be why it hasn’t been added to your account.

Your Thomas Cook claim should appear in your account tomorrow. If you let me know the new sales figure via the claims screen, I can contact them and get them to adjust the figures.

      Dear Karen

Thanks for your suggestion. eBuyer are one of our top targets as many of our staff have used them in the past. If we’re able to add them in future, we’ll let you know.

      Kind regards

I work for a national charity and we book hundreds of trains per year around the country. Transpennine Express (http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/) are signed up to giveasyoulive but East Coast trains (http://www.eastcoast.co.uk/) aren’t. Would be great if you could get all the train companies on board!

      Hi Emily

Thanks for your suggestion. Whilst East Coast trains don’t have their own scheme that we can join right now, a few of our existing stores do allow you to buy tickets for their trains. For instance, MyTrainTicket offer tickets for East Coast as well as Virgin Trains, First Great Western, CrossCountry and South West Trains; and you can raise 1% with each ticket purchase. .

      Kind regards

National Saddle Centre – Just spent £271 with them – it would be good if they used GAYL!

      Hi Bill

Thanks for your suggestion. I don’t believe they have an available scheme at the moment, however we will certainly keep an eye out for one. If there are any other equestrian sites that you’d like to use, please let me know.

      Kind regards

      Hi Justin

Thanks for your suggestions. Opodo is actually already one of our partner retailers, so you can start raising funds there right now.

Sky Scanner are available on one of the retailer networks we work with, so we will be able to add them in future. I’ll let you know when they go live.

      Kind regards

          Hi Louise

Thanks for the suggestion – Lakeland are one of our biggest targets and are popular with several of our team here.

Unfortunately they haven’t chosen to join Give as you Live yet – we hope they change their mind, as we would love them to join and help raise funds for charity through us.

          Thanks

Decleor would be great. Also has QVC stopped doing this scheme?

          Hi Jennie

QVC are temporarily unavailable for technical reasons. They will be back very soon. If you wish to shop with them in the meantime, I can provide you with a link. Please contact me at matt@everyclick.com for it.

We don’t currently have Decleor but we do have many retailers which stock their products such as Salon Skincare, Feel Unique and John Lewis.

          Kind regards
