Top 5 ways of entertaining the Kids and supporting your charity through Give as you Live

With the Autumn school term under way I am sad to say that as gloomy as it seems those dark evenings and cold and wet evenings are getting ever closer.

So here are my top 5 indoor games from Give as you Live retailers:

1. City Train Table and Railway Set, £99 (HALF PRICE)
This playtable will keep give hours of entertainment. The playtable has a wooden frame, 2 drawers and a decorated playboard with a wooden railway layout and includes table, baseboard, trees, 2 trains with carriages, a car, truck and helicopter plus much more.

Toys R Us will donate up to 1.5% to the charity of your choice.

2. Monopoly Here and Now Electronic Banking Edition, £27
Everyone’s favourite board game storms into the 21st century with Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition. Cash is scrapped in this flash new version of the classic money-making game.

Instead, a computerized chip and pin device sees players fund their spree through the capital city with a quick swipe of their ‘credit and debit cards’.

The board itself has had a make-over to reflect today’s London and even the counters have had an upgrade – now you can storm around the board with a mobile phone or a cheeseburger. Just what I have always wanted!

The Entertainer will donate up to 1.5% to the charity you choose.

3. Role Play Costumes, £24
There’s nothing like good old fashioned dress-up, imaginary play comes to life with this realistic range of dressing up costumes for younger children. There are 10 to choose from including chef, police officer, doctor, knight, pirate, builder, firefighter, princess, fairy and vet.

Each role play set comes complete with accessories making them great pretend play gifts for children aged 3 to 6 years of age.

Notonthehighstreet will donate up to 2.5% to your favourite cause.

4. Gigantic Piano Mat, £50
Make giant music. Play the xylophone, accordion or guitar on this gigantic piano playmat. With real musical keys you can play your own musical tunes. There are 4 modes to select from and up to 8 different instruments. Sorry but ear plugs do not come with this game so suggest you purchase those separately.

Hamleys will donate up to 2.5% to your favourite cause.

5. Little Cooks Kitchen, £70
My daughter loves to cook – I spotted this multi activity kitchen which is perfect for budding chefs.

You can turn the clicking dials on the oven. You can pretend to bake a birthday cake. You can wash pretend food in the sink, pop it in the pan and get cooking.

With 37 accessories included and a hob that makes realistic sizzling sounds when you place your play pan on it, the Sizzlin’ Kitchen is every young chef’s dream. Hopefully I will get my Kitchen back if I splash out on this. Mothercare will donate up to 2% to the charity of your choice.

The retailers mentioned above are just a few of the many that are signed up with us. If you can’t see anything you like in this post, check out the full list of Give as you Live stores selling ‘kids stuff’.
