Using Give as you Live to book business trips

Give as you Live have just arrived back from the Third Sector Digital Communication and Social Media convention. We planned our road trip to London and booked all our travel and accommodation online.

What better way to demonstrate how Give as you Live can be used for almost anything, I booked our train tickets online at thetrainline, not only saving us 40% but also donating 87p to The British Hen Welfare Trust, in support of One Little Egg.

I searched for some accommodation that was close to the venue and a tube station, which always seems impossible to find in London; however I endeavoured to find one. I found a great little gem hidden at the end of Oxford Street on Laterooms, raising a huge £6.38 for British Hen Welfare Trust.

I didn’t have to change anything I normally do when I book business trips online, I searched for the best deals and booked and paid for them online. I already had the App downloaded, so it recognised I was shopping at Give as you Live store and notified me of this whilst I was shopping, followed by a thank you e-mail and the amount I raised.
