The midfoot saddle is composed from mesh and also has no-sew overlays which increase the level of ventilation and provide a more secure fit. The no-sew overlays offer support and a seamless interior. The internal heal counter wraps the foot and provides a more snug and secure fit for the wearer. The reflective material under the saddle remains visible in low-light conditions to reduce accidents. Midsole - The Fitsole sockliner is moulded to the foot conforming to its shape in order to provide the ultimate comfort and underfoot support. The Nike Zoom unit in the heel provides low-level, responsive cushioning for the wearer. It is top loaded to bring the unit closer to the foot for even more cushioning. The Premium Cushion foam provides soft and springy cushioning while still responsive and supportive throughout the gait cycle. Outsole - The rubber used on the waffle outsole is environmentally preferred and provides durability and multi-surface traction. The rubber crash rail on the lateral side acts as a cushioning device at contact for a soft and smooth transition. The rubber is in segments to increase flexibility while running, also allowing the foot to move in a more natural range of motion. The cross rocker in the forefoot is radiused in the centre and tapered on the side to promote further natural movements.
