Shopping for university helps a good cause

A Guest post from Gabriela Simeonova
After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire I decided I wanted to continue my studies. After careful consideration I decided to study International Human Resource Management.

As I received my reading list I quickly realised how expensive all my books will be. After looking through websites I still couldn’t find one that had fairly reasonably-priced books. Finally, I settled on Amazon as my main supplier for course materials.

I then looked at my toolbar, and it had informed me that I could turn on my Give as you Live and not only buy my books, but also give to a good cause. I proceeded to order my book, and the next day I received an email from Give as you Live informing me that I have raised £1.05 for Bulgarian Suppport Fund.

It may not seem much, but I am supporting an organisation dear to my heart. Small funds become big funds with time and persistence. I was able to give back to my country while expanding my education.

That is what Give as you Live is all about!

We’re pleased to see Gabby taking the first step on the journey to raising her first £50 with Give as you Live. And here’s Gabby demonstrating how the new Give as you Live download works in Google Chrome.
