How long does it take to switch broadband?

The general rule is two weeks — this is just what you can generally expect but some providers may take up to six weeks. The good news is that once you sign up with a new provider, you’ll be given an installation date and then within this time you can cancellation with your current provider to minimise the time you’re offline.
